Sorry it's been so long since I've posted. With being pregnant and being sick and trying to get our houes ready for a baby it has been chaotic :) But exciting!!!! I have been making cards just haven't been posting...so I am going to spend some time today and actually take pictures of what has been made, write about them, and post them. I love this stamp set but I gotta tell, I'm not happy with this card...I had such high hopes for this card but I just think it's missing something! Oh well.... One thing about this card that I had fun with was the masking technique for the heart in the little boat. I've done reverse masking before but this was the first time playing with regular masking. I enjoyed it and look forward to trying it again on other cards.

I pretty much CASE'd this card from TexaninOhio at SCS...I thought she did an awesome job and just had to recreated it for myself (with just a few tweaks).

Here is another one of the christmas cards I made this year for giving out. This was my first attempt at punching out a window card. The picture doesn't show it very well but the tree is on the inside of the card. I don't have a square punch, so I just used my tag punch on the top and bottom of the Old Olive card and then cut out the section inbetween. I really liked the way this card turned out.

Birthday Card for Mother-in-Law

My mother-in-law's birthday is this month and her is the card I made for her. I used Stickles on the flower...I gotta tell you...I loved the ease of using it but I didn't like how long it took to dry and I didn't like how it pulled up the color, turning it a funny looking pink around the edges....Think I'll probably stick with using the 2-way glue pen and glitter.

I had fun trying to CASE this card from the Stampin' Up! Tampa Regionals (03-2007). I changed a few minor things but it's almost the same as their example. I free cut the leaves, bent them a little and added some lines to make them look a little more "life-like"? :)

I got the idea to do this card from the Stampin' Success July 2007 issue. I just love their new Prints Designer Series Paper! I have a friend that is going to have a baby soon and I made this card for her shower. I love the sky blue and regal rose combo. I took the white thread and sponged it with regal rose ink to get it to match the other regal rose coloring...fun but a little messy...I have no patience with waiting for things to dry :) oh well....
